About Aratac

OUR STORY

Aratac was founded in 2013 by Chris Sutherland, a former Great Britain and Scotland international who spent three decades leading one of the world’s most respected hockey brands across the UK and Ireland. Along the way, he helped pioneer stick technologies that continue to influence the game today.

From day one, Aratac has been built around a simple belief: the best equipment is created by people who live the sport. Our products are designed and developed by hockey players, for hockey players — combining performance-led engineering with meticulous attention to the details that matter on the pitch.

Over the past decade, Aratac has become recognised as one of the world’s leading premium hockey brands, with players using our sticks in countries across the globe — from grassroots hockey to the highest levels of the game. Every stick and piece of equipment is shaped by player feedback and driven by a relentless focus on feel: pick-up and balance, touch and control, and the consistency you need when it matters.

Because in hockey, small margins make a big difference. And once you’ve played with Aratac, you don’t just see the quality — you feel it.
